«MY CANON»
Contest for amateurs and professionals

Theme of the contest:

• "Canon: In football mood"

Conditions:

• Pictures must be taken with a Canon camera. Colour and black-and-white photographic prints are accepted, taken with any Canon model and on a format of at least 30x40cm.Each participant may enter a maximum of five photographs into the competition. Additional information: www.canon.com.ua

An exhibition of competition entries will be held as part of the 6th International Kiev PHOTOFAIR from 29 May to 1 June 2008 at the International Exhibition Centre (IEC), (Kyiv, Brovarskoi Prospect 15, Metro Levoberezhna).

Prizes:

Professionals:
• 1st prize - EOS 5D EF 24-105 Lens Kit
• 2nd prize - EOS 40D body
• 3rd prize - HV20

Amateurs:
• 1st prize - EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM
• 2nd prize - PowerShot G9 + Selphy CP-750
• 3rd prize - SELPHY ES-2

The awards ceremony for the competition winners will be held on 31 May at 14:00 at the Canon stand.

Ukrainian contest for amateurs and professionals

Theme of the contest:

• EXTREM, SPORT, ACTION STYLE OF LIFE.

Conditions:

• Everybody under 18 is invited to take part in this contest. Participants are allowed to present up to 3 thematically connected photos on each category. Additional information: www.actionphoto.com.ua

56 best photos will be presented at the 6^th annual PhotoFair Kyiv on May 29 - 01 June (International Exhibition Center, Brovarsky ave., 15). 

The awarding ceremony will take place at E-PHOTO company stand on June 01 at 2 pm.

«ALTERNATIVES»
Festival of a youth photography

Theme of the contest:

• COLOURING, EMO, OTHER WORLDS.

Organisers:       

• Alpha Media Group
• PHOTOFAIR Kyiv

Conditions:

• Everybody under 17 - 25 is invited to take part in this contest. Works must be uploaded in electronic format through the contest site form. The works of finalists will be exhibited at the 6th international exhibition "PHOTOFAIR Kiev".

Peculiarities:

• In the framework of the Festival the largest universities of Kiev will hold free master-classes with professional photographers participation. The detailed information on the festival is awailable on blog http://blog.alternativy.org.ua/

The best photos will be presented at the 6^th annual PhotoFair Kyiv on May 29 - 01 June (International Exhibition Center, Brovarsky ave., 15).
